where brown was shot and killed, and friends say that only they stopped here to use the bathroom, when they came out, they heard a gunshot. now, we were there last night as the police were investigating who shot brown. they p able to put out -- they were able to put out an alert on the car that the suspects were travelling in and a few hours later, they were caught. police say they believe that albert taylor pulled that trigger. but that dennis gibbs, fair and the 15-year-old were with them. in court today, the suspects had quite a lot to say. >> any questions? >> yeah, i've got a question, what are these cameras for. >> it's the news media. >> oh, the news media. what's up. follow me on twitter. >>reporter: obviously, very loud and boisterous inside of the courtroom today. the fourth suspect was not in the courtroom because he is a juvenile. brianna smith, 7 news.

his pickup was hit by a man being chased by authorities. >> it happened early this morning, on in powdersville at the intersection of highway 153 and highway 81. learning tonight, more about the victim and the man that authorities say caused his death. 7 news reporter dave jordan is in powdersville now with details. dave. >>reporter: well, amy, that man has been identified as 62-year-old stephen burnett in the wrong place at the wrong time, authorities are telling us his life came toen a end at this intersection in powdersville after f the rt nos tell us a man running from greenville county deputies -- trying to arrest 25-year-old dexter reeves on four active warrants. that crash shut down the intersection for hours by mid-morning, accident reconstruction crews were on the scene, and once they were done, the cleanup began. now, burnett's family and friends were too distraught to speak with me on camera.

coworkers he was okay frng he real bad. i said, well, i'm not so sure this is heart burn. >> i told randy, you stay right here, you know, i'm going to get some help. >>reporter: surprisingly, just down the hall, was a nurse. it was only her fourth day on the job, and she was in the building by chance. >> had my stethoscope, i grabbed it. >>reporter: he was set on taking his truck to the next stop. >> we really need to get you did the hospital. >> the ladies, weren't going to take no for an answer. >>reporter: at the hospital, doctors found one of his arteries 99% blocked. >> three other arteries were 70%. >>reporter: something he may not have known until too late. these are some of the heavy item ms was here to pick up that day when he started experiencing symptoms, two weeks later, they're still here, and he's back to get them and feeling so much better.

up in the upstate. more clouds and mostly dry, a warm saturday and better rain chances come into the picture for us by sunday night. most of the weekend is going to be try, etch though we'll see an -- even though we'll see an increase in cloud cover saturday. high pressure at the surface, the center to the north keeping things very quiet across the eastern third of the country tonight. upper level winds, still out of the northwest, high clouds streaming in. but we're not looking for any lower clouds to trap that heat and we'll get rid of the heat we got today. and that will set us up for a chilly start to our friday. a bun dant sunshine. breezy at types, not really a windy day. and then getting into saturday, morning, we'll find more in the way of cloud cover, can't even rule out a few spots of rain in north carolina. but the upstate has a much better chance of staying dry. and then as we get into sunday, starting to see the rain chances increasing as the system

50 in asheville, lower 50s in spartanburg, 54 in laurens and 53 in anderson. here's what to expect for the next 72 hours. looking good as far as the temperature goes. sky conditions clouds back in the picture by saturday. and it will be mostly cloudy, but mostly dry. into sunday, there's a good chance the majority of the daylight hours will be dry. but the trend will be for the shower chances to increase. we'll be close to 70 for a high on sunday. we'll hold on to the warm weather into early next week. but the first half of next week, is looking very unsettled. a good chance of rain, we get the chillier weather back by tuesday. when highs will stop in the lower 50s. and there's your mountain forecast, expect a beautiful day tomorrow, 54 for a high. 60 with more clouds on saturday. into sunday, increasing rain chances, as far as the coverage goes. best chance of rain for us will be monday into tuesday. and as that system wraps up, cold air comes in, and the mountains will have a chance to see a little snow by wednesday afternoon. if this system keeps on the same
